Expansion into eye -
With Bite Beauty primarily having a lip based portfolio, the expansion into eye. was next. This first product in this beauty category is a voluminous mascara. Staying within the Bite Beauty design standards this expansion needed to incorporate its own quirk to stand out from their lip category. The final design aimed to include a winged feature to highlight the ‘upswing’ effect!
Design Exploration
This project involved working with a more unique carton and creating a fluid design that utilized both panels involved in the wing. Implementing a two-panel mascara swipe design this involved working with PD for bulk product as well as our photographer to create swipe artwork as well as product photography for pack design.
Other tasks: photo retouching, photography direction, test printing, pre-press file creation/organization, 3D rendering of mock-ups, presentation prep

To the left is the final DTO which was handed off cross-functionally to the product artist, which included all post-production finish callouts.
